I am badly in need of a trim. The shape of my hair has been likened to that of an apron. Needless to say, I will not be wearing my hair down and out until after my salon appointment next week. I had been "puffing" it, but I can see the toll it is taking on my hairline (front and back). So inspired by some Fotki friends, I finally did my own updo. I was pleasantly surprised that I could pull this off on second day hair using just one clip!
I smoothed the top with wet hands and some Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Gel. I brushed back one side using my Denman D4 brush and left some tendrils out for a side bang. I pulled my hair back like I was putting it in a ponytail, twisted it upward, and clipped it with a Vidal Sassoon Large Omega Claw Clip. This clip held all of my hair in place all day long. I am super excited to have found a new second day hair style.
